Vols in top 3 for DJ Humphries

Offensive lineman DJ Humprhies (6'6 275-lbs) has visited the UT campus at least three times this Spring. After his most recent visit last month, he said the Vols were neck and neck with Florida with the Gators holding a slight edge. However, the Charlotte native told Chris Clark of Gamecock Central that UT now trails Florida and South Carolina.

"That's the order right there," he said of his top three. "South Carolina, they're probably at number two. I like it a lot. I like how the players are like a family there. That's one of the biggest things I like about it."

Oddly enough, fellow Vol running back and now coach at USC Jay Graham is recruiting Humphries to USC.

"He showed us around a lot. Me and Coach Graham have a good relationship. We talk back and forth on Facebook sometimes. He was with us pretty much the whole time today."

Humphries reiterated his favorites following attending the Alabama A-Day game. He said Alabama was also in his top 5.

Humphries is rated a 5 star prospect by Rivals.com and perhaps the top offensive lineman in the nation.
