By Barry Byers - The Herald ROCK HILL --
Northwestern quarterback Justin Worley, a 6-foot-5, 195-pound senior, is finishing one of the best careers ever in South Carolina at his position.
Worley, who committed to the Tennessee Volunteers, is a three-year starter and is rewriting the state record book, "Palmetto's Finest". All records in the book are recognized as the ones to go by and are sanctioned by the South Carolina High School League.
Palmetto's Finest does not included all records, but a check with sportswriters from around the state have been used to determine those not in the book. Worley's numbers are listed below, with official records and those believed to be records by the state's high school writers but not listed in the book.
Since Worley became the starter, the Trojans are 32-7 and region champs his first two years. We will track Worley each week with an update of his numbers.
